ESSAY FOR TEST

QUESTION - DO YOU TEXT AT HE DINNER TABLE.

ANSWER - No I don't text at the dinner table because I think it's disrecpectful and it would definately annoy my father.  I think having a time with the family should be with the family. Devices definately causes tension in my house because as soon as one of us gets home its either the computer or cell phone so there is really no family time.
                   We never text or do web searches during dinner because of course we don't want it to get taken away. So I think the best or polite way to do is turning it off or leave it in our room. But if I could I would use my device during dinner.
                    Since this is not acceptable at all in my house I guess this how is going to be. I would do it but once a while if I could. Technology now really take away the family time of families. Since everyone is getting older they don't really don't want to do certain things they use to do so not texting  at the dinner table is quite a good thing.

QUESTION - How much homework should teachers give during a vacation?  Why?

 ANSWER - None because it just invading in our vacation and the worst part is they not going to remember it anyways.

ANSWER - technology affect the thinking patterns of teenagers today by letting think that because you don't have the latest technology your poor or you can not talk to them.

QUESTION - What do you think is the greatest problems facing the teenagers of today?

ANSWER -  The use of technology because cell phones, iPods etc normally let teenagers lay off the most important stuff like homework. Due to this situation school work wouldn't even matter to them anymore which leads to no education no future.

QUESTION - How old do you think someone should be before they are allowed to create a Facebook account?  Why?


ANSWER -I don't think there should be a age limit because if you can understand the rules and progress this website so i guess you could be aloud.

QUESTION - How old do you think someone should be before they are allowed to play violent video games?  Should parents buy violent video games for minors? Why?

ANSWER -  I  think the age group should start at 14 because then teenagers at this age should know what is right from wrong. I don't think parents should buy violent games for minors because this give the child the taught of killing and they want to feel how a real gun would feel when shooting it.

QUESTION- Should stores sell violent video games to minors? 
ANSWER- yeah because it's the same games most parents buy there kids anyways. So having a child going in to a store to buy a violent game is not such a big of a deal.

TECHNOLOGY

QUESTION - How are your own teachers using technology? Does it help you learn? Do you have any suggestions for ways that your school can better use technology to promote learning and class participation?

ANSWER -  My teachers are up to standard when it comes to technology. It certainly do help too because we have engrade to keep our grades on track and we get the chance to  learn how do projects on the computer in our own interest. I really don't think i have any suggestions to make to this because they are giving me the amount of technology needed for school.

*What do you like best about your project?
    -The thing i like best about my project is how i got the chance to create different styles to my images.

*What is the one thing you would do different on your project?
   - Actually i wouldn't change anything on my project because i like it just the way it is. Since it is appropriate for the assignment and it's neatly done i think Mr. Viereck will like it too.

*What problems or challenges did you overcome completing this project?
     -The challenges and problems I have overcome while doing my project are: a computer that wasn't working, I couldn't upload my pictures that i had on my phone so i had to find different ways to make my project appropriate and grammar.

 *What grade do you think you deserve on this project? Why?
        -I really  deserve an A for my project because i apply to the directions and finish it on time. Not only did i do all this but i also overcome the challenges to get it perfectly done.

QUESTION- Do you have a smartphone or other device on which to download apps? What are your favorites? Why? Even if you don’t have one of these devices, what apps seem most entertaining, useful or valuable?
ANSWER - No, i don't have one but i think my favorite apps would be for movies, music and one to edit photos since i love taking pictures.

QUESTION- How much should parents in general know about their teenagers’ life online? Why?

ANSWER - I don't think parents should invade there teens privacy but if they think something wrong is going on online then they could ask permission to view the website. Otherwise from that i don't think they should want to see this because this would just be annoying.

ESSAY


 I use to spend a lot of time texting until my father limit my texting. after this it was kinda hard to accept the fact that I couldn't text a lot but I got use to the situation so it doesn't really bother me any more. Most of the time I do switch between doing homework and checking my facebook status. Facebook and other websites is very addictive but I put my school work first.

My grades are never affected my what I do on websites but it normally would do research paper and be on facebook on the same time which makes me sometimes make me want to choose the website over homework but since it's my responsibility to take my school work seriously. My father definitely limited my use of technology since now a days i can only use the computer for school work.

  I recognize myself in one of these teens because we having the same problems  when it comes to texting and using other technology. My decision is to limit my use of technology so it won't affect my school work and my future.

How do you think your life would be different without the Internet?

How do you think your life would be different without Computers?  

ANSWER -My life would be harder without internet when  it comes to school work because things i don't understand in class i could research it on the internet to get a better explanation but other wise it just wouldn't matter since there wouldn't be any. My life would be boring since there wouldn't be any computer because this would mean no fun but all work.

QUESTION- Do you think people are more likely to review a product they like or a product they dislike?  Why?

ANSWER - I really think people would review a product they like because they would want to know what is in that product etc. due to this fact most people wonder what is in the products that they use everyday.
